Island Hoping

Passion fruit B&B is only “7″minutes away from the ferry Docks to Culebra & Vieques, you can go ” Island Hoping” from us and still have our wonderful breakfast before going to our sisters islands. We will provide you some beach towels and arrange taxi service for a more enjoyable time.

Culebra and Vieques

The islands of Culebra and Vieques, to the east of the main island of Puerto Rico, are beautiful and scenic. A ferry to either of these islands departs from the town of Puerto Real, which is just a few miles from Las Croabas. Culebra boasts one of the most beautiful beaches in the area. Flamenco Beach is a fabulous place to spend the day. A tour of the fort on the Island of Vieques makes for an interesting day trip and it too has some wonderful beaches. However, on Vieques, you will need a vehicle, as the beaches are remote and public transportation is not readily accessible to them.

Bedrooms

General Bedroom Description

How many ways can you describe a comfortable bed? That is what we thought! Of course our main objective is to provide you with a comfortable room and a place to sleep during your visit. Each room or suite will also be equipped with satellite television. The rooms are painted in different tropical colors and the Caribbean atmosphere will be enhanced with live tropical plants in each room. Your privacy will not be interrupted by ringing phones. However a telephone will be available on the grounds should you need one. There is wireless Internet service at PFB&B, the best connections are by the lobby area and the terrace on the second floor.

Magui Mercado

Share Suites Room Description

There are two suites separated from the main building. One of them is a two bedroom suite Nales-Quad, with a dividing wall between the beds and the other Luis Magui Mercado- handicap accessible – with a Queen bed and a sofa bed (futon Mattress). They both have balconies, great for large families that want their own space. Maria Esther Dones/Share is on the main building, is the quietest room we have, no windows on the bedroom and a very spacious living room with a sofa bed. These are pet friendly, call us to arrange any special requests for these special family member.

Norma Candal

Honey Moon Suites Room Description

The two rooms on the south side of the building are large rooms and ideal for honeymooners. The distance ocean view from Mouliert is not the only reason to plan your own celebration here, Candal is very private. Great for those guests looking for an spacious area,  fresh tropical Caribbean air, lots of windows to alternate the air condition provided already.

Baralt Sisters

Standard Suites Description

The three rooms on the north side of the building are spacious in their own unique ways. The tropical view from these rooms is of La Roca, a famous mountain in Fajardo. Ideal for short time stay, these are our most visited rooms. Baralt, the only one on the second floor, has a cozy bedroom and a very spacious bath.

Carlos Arroyo

VIP Suites Room Description

On the second floor, there are four VIP rooms. VIP Room Coello has a very nice bedroom with a cozy living room where you can relax before going to bed. The half-moon shaped shower is so large no curtain is needed.
Arroyo on the third floor is one of our guest favorite and has a King size bed, very large room.
The two newest Suites are Sofia & George Torres both unique in their own special way. Ideal for honeymooners they both have King size beds. Sofia has large balcony for more privacy and George has a nice tea room.

Quad Suites Room Descriptions

On the first floor there are three, two-bedroom suites that are ideal for travelers with children or a group of friends. These rooms are close to the pool area. They all have two beds, either Queen or Full and in some cases they also have a sofa bed with a futon mattress for those large families.

The third Floor VIP QUAD -Don Goyo- is very large and comfortable, with a  King size bed and a full bed on the other room.

We also have a new Quad Suite – Coco-Red – name after our two cats Coco & Red. It has two beds one Queen and a full bed , with a breathtaking balcony where you can enjoy beautiful sunsets.
